For whatever reason the PC version of Dead Rising 3 is capped at 30 fps by default but with a little PC wizardry the cap can be lifted: My mid-range gaming laptop was able to run the game on high with minimal drops. The game looked gorgeous on the Xbox One, however there was still the occasional texture pop or chug, but it never took away from my original experience. Capcom did all of these increases while at the same time dramatically minimizing load screens. Compared to Dead Rising 2, the third installment was able to increase both the scale of the map as well as the sheer amount of zombies the game could generate and handle by a great margin.
